I’m a doula serving the families of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. As someone who has had the pleasure of serving families of New England for over 10 years in many different ways, I’ve seen it all.

I know that no two people are the same, no two families are the same and no two births are the same.

Knowing and trusting the people in your birth space is important, so here’s a little bit about me!

I came to doula work because I was actually looking into a plan for my future. I understood that there were some very scary sounding disparities when it came to the birth rate in our area and I was looking for a way to help myself to feel safe and secure when I decided that it would be time to have a family of my own (I’m a HUGE planner lol). That’s when I learned about what doulas were and what they did. I was fascinated. Fast forward to a few months after that discovery, I had a friend request my presence to photograph her homebirth (I’m also a photographer). I went and had the honor of watching doulas and midwives at work. Something started brewing within me. I ended up going to a training and from that first day I was hooked; I haven’t looked back since.

My favorite thing about supporting moms through birth is watching them grow in confidence. Confidence in asking for help, confidence in developing a birth plan confidence in braving the scary things, confidence in breastfeeding and confidence in mothering. While they focus on nurturing the baby and watching them grow, I get the honor of watching them grow into something they weren’t sure they could ever become…and it’s beautiful.

I’m passionate about empowered births and the incredible strength it takes to build strong, healthy families and believe that it starts at getting the right support from the beginning.
